Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Nose Wax.

Most clients feel brief stinging or tugging; discomfort is minimal and short-lived. Our technicians use gentle wax and careful technique to minimize pain. Nose waxing is safe for healthy adults, though consultation is recommended if you have medical conditions or recent nasal procedures.

Typically results last three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth. Root removal delays regrowth, though timing varies by person. Regular appointments can maintain a tidy look and longer intervals between grooming compared with trimming.

Some transient redness, tenderness, or mild irritation can occur but usually resolves within a day or two. To reduce ingrown hairs and infection risk we follow strict hygiene, recommend gentle cleansing, and advise against picking or probing the area.

Avoid touching your nose, harsh products, or vigorous rubbing for 24–48 hours. Use a gentle saline rinse or mild cleanser if needed, and apply a soothing antiseptic or aloe product if irritation appears. Skip hot saunas for a day.

People with active cold sores, nasal infections, recent surgery, severe acne, or blood clotting disorders should avoid nose waxing. Also skip waxing if you're on certain medications or have highly sensitive skin; consult our technician or your physician first.

Nose waxing removes visible nasal hair but does not treat allergies or meaningfully improve airflow. Nasal hairs trap debris, so waxing is primarily cosmetic and hygienic. For breathing issues or allergies seek medical evaluation and appropriate treatments, not hair removal alone.
